Daily life at Hope and Faith Home for Special Children is designed to be predictable, nurturing, and rehabilitative. Every day follows structured routines that emphasize care, therapy, hygiene, and meaningful activity. Children and adults begin their mornings with communal routines, sharing breakfast in community spaces, followed by personal hygiene and dressing. Therapy sessions are scheduled according to individual needs, while educational and sensory activities help develop cognitive, motor, and social skills. Afternoons include recreation, group activities, and spiritual reflection, providing balance and structure to each day.
Meals at the Home are carefully planned to meet the dietary requirements of children and adults. Hygiene routines are strictly maintained to promote health and well-being. Sleep is organized in safe and monitored dormitories, ensuring restful nights. Caregivers provide constant personal support, assisting with feeding, bathing, mobility, and other daily needs. This level of attention fosters a family-like atmosphere, giving children stability, affection, and consistent adult presence.
The therapy room is a central hub for physical and occupational rehabilitation. It is equipped with essential tools such as mobility aids, standing frames, exercise mats, and sensory toys that stimulate development and encourage progress. Renovated and outfitted by the Children Autism Foundation, the therapy space has significantly enhanced care outcomes and improved the dignity of daily routines for every child. Here, children build strength, coordination, and confidence, while caregivers receive guidance to support ongoing rehabilitation.
Safety and security are core priorities at the Home. The perimeter wall and gate have been critical in providing a secure living environment. Before their construction, the Home faced significant security risks, which threatened the safety and well-being of the children. Today, the secure boundary protects residents, reduces incidents of harm, and creates a peaceful environment where therapy, learning, and play can occur uninterrupted.
At Hope and Faith, daily life is more than routine. It is a deliberate structure designed to foster growth, independence, and emotional stability. Each activity, from therapy to recreation, supports the physical, cognitive, and spiritual development of children and adults with disabilities. Caregivers, volunteers, and staff work tirelessly to create a space where each resident feels valued, respected, and encouraged to thrive.
Through consistent routines, structured therapy, secure surroundings, and personal attention, the Home ensures that every day contributes to a child’s development and overall well-being. Donors and partners play an essential role in sustaining this environment, providing resources that maintain daily operations, support therapy, and enhance the quality of life for children and adults in care.
